I went to a wedding in 1999 and a couple jumped a broom during the ceremony. I loved the idea of incorporating traditional African-American heritage with the modern wedding. Two years later, I decided to make a broom for a co-worker's wedding and I have been creating these pieces of history ever since.
Each broom is hand-crafted and customized with love to the customer's specifications to ensure top quality and originality; each piece is truly one of a kind. Many recipients of these artistic brooms expressed the joy in knowing no one else has a copy. All materials used are authentic and of high quality.
In addition to wedding brooms, I also am able to.produce custom decorative brooms and a whole host of decorative items. These items have been featured as center pieces, decoration for the home and office, and as wedding accents. In the past I have created pieces in the following themes: babies, wine, shopping, ethnic art, and MORE!!! My creative ability is only limited by the imagination of my clients.
One day, my brooms will grace the pages of Ebony Magazine and the stage at Harpo Studio where Oprah will showcase my work. Then I can bring the beauty of my original work to the lives of countless people.
